Correction, crash, drawdown
Drawdown = how far price has fallen from its recent peak.
A fall of ~10% is called a correction (normal, happens most years). ~20%+ is a bear market.
A sudden violent fall is a crash. These feel scary but have happened dozens of times, and the market
has recovered from every single one so far โ the danger is panicking and selling at the bottom.
The verdicts here say things like "18% off the period high" โ that's the drawdown.
