Step 4 — Check who's buying and selling

Look at the stock's "Today's deals" tab and the Insider tab: are big funds or star investors buying? Are promoters or insiders selling? Smart money agreeing with your idea is comforting; smart money running for the exit is a red flag worth investigating.
